I agree with all of you. Ryan Bingham is badass, I have been listening to him for about 2 years now. Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser are the blood of "real" country musci right now. Another artist you should all check out it Tonya Watts. She has some stuff on youtube that is great true country, and she is a huge DAC fan as well.

I have been working on some material with some friends of mine, and we are going for a hardcore country sound as well. As soon as I get some more stuff recorded in studio I will post some songs for you guys to check out. As far as Taylor Swift is concearned, I started a war on my facebook page after the awards shot about how she should not have been entertainer of the year in Country music because she is pop. I pissed a lot of people off iwth that one but I don't really care.

I'll have to check out Ryan Bingham more..Jeff was absolutely right about Jamey!!..I told my hubby Jamey & Randy are this generation's Waylon & Willie ...Don't worry about Taylor, Smokey Joe..The girl can't sing..Few more years from now no one will remember her..I like to read the comments on youtube..Something I thought was kind of funny and hit the nail on the head was a comment written by this guy who said Taylor couldn't hit a tune with a forklift ...Anyway, can't wait to hear your songs

You know that Hank the third is the coolest dude in country....he plays heavy metal with Assjack then puts on his hat and is more country than anyone....even Taytor tot.

My problem with Taylor Swift (and many other artists) is the fact that they are classified as country artists. Thats bullshit. She is good in her own right, but far from country. One good thing I can say about her is that she writes her own songs.

I realize Taylor has some dedicated fans and good for her but I can't help but think that if she had come along when the legends were getting started, she would have never made it because like Aron I agree she is not a country singer..She would have been in Tiger Beat way back when..If you know what I"m talking about..Same with some of the rest of the new artists..Carrie started out country but she lost it to big bucks..Sad!!!...Hank 3, you are in the right place if you like him canehiller..That's all I have to say about Shelton..To each his own I guess..We all do have music in common and that is great.
